Pusat Nur Hikmah, Badan Kebajikan Anak-Anak Yatim, is a home for orphans and single mothers in Kajang. It was established in January 2005. Currently the home houses 50 orphans and provides for more than 20 single mothers. The basic needs such as food, water, shelter, and schooling are provided. However, the living conditions for the children are far from conducive. Zinc roofs, broken doors and 50 growing children are all cramped in an inadequate space. Some of them are even sleeping in the storage rooms.
